Maungatautari Sanctuary Mountain – FREE (Norther Enclosure at Hicks Road) and Ticketed Options (FAMILY Pass for 2 Adults & up to 3 Children is $57.00). The ticketed area of the sanctuary is accessible to most (suitable for pushchairs) and there are plenty of seats along the way.
Playgrounds
Pioneer Park at the Te Awamutu Events Centre. Has a great pump track for smaller kids bikes, a gated playground for toddlers and a few larger obstacles including a flying fox for older children.
