Changes at Te Awamutu Online

Home Pages Old & NewRegular visitors to this website will notice some changes on our home page.

Firstly, the layout has been redesigned to make navigation more intuitive.

More significantly, we are delighted to welcome the Te Awamutu i-SITE Visitor Information Centre on board as an official presence at Te Awamutu Online.

We have always enjoyed a productive relationship with the i-SITE centre and this move represents a natural progression. By coordinating our resources we aim to provide a better, more effective service for people wanting information about our district.

Some of the new developments include:

  • The i-SITE Centre now has their own web presence at www.teawamutu.co.nz/i-site/
  • A new Helpdesk system is being introduced to co-ordinate Te Awamutu-related enquiries. Emails and online submissions will be assigned to the people who are best qualified to answer.
  • Te Awamutu will have a single "What's On" events calendar. This will be managed by the i-SITE centre and published in the Courier and our What's On section.
  • We are also laying the foundation for future developments such as an online shop.

We are very excited about working more closely with the i-SITE centre and would like to thank the following people for helping to make it possible:

  • Roz Liddell, Te Awamutu i-SITE Manager.
  • Bruce Crowther, Ian Parlane, Dean Taylor and the rest of the Te Awamutu Community Public Relations Organisation.
