Little Theatre: The Diary of Anne Frank

The Diary of Anne Frank is currently showing at the Te Awamutu Little Theatre. Directed by Kim Barclay, this is a major production for the Theatre. Shows have been booked out with waiting lists and reviews have been very favourable.

The play, written by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, is based on the writings of teenager Anne Frank during the 2nd World War. Anne kept a diary during her family's wartime ordeal, in which they were forced to hide in cramped conditions from the Nazis.

The Little Theatre has had to strip their stage to make room for the set, which authentically captures the period.

Watch this space -- we hope to have photos and reviews available soon.
