If you can see yourself driving a hot, red convertible over summer you won’t want to miss the opportunity to win one.

Te Awamutu shoppers have the chance to win a 1999 Mazda MX5 in a local retail promotion. For every $20 spent at any of 15 participating stores you get a stamp on your entry form.

Once you have spent $100 (and have five stamps) you can enter the draw.

Look out for car posters outside participating stores.

The winner will be drawn at Furniture Court on December 22, with a number of spot prizes being given away as well, but the winners must be present to collect their prizes.

Organiser Mark Mc- Naughten says the promotion is to encourage local people to shop in Te Awamutu.

“Local promotions have had huge success over the years since the first Midnight Madness was promoted with a $10,000 prize. It would be fantastic in the future if we could have all of the town involved in these promotions and we have giveaways throughout the year.”
