Rods rule for Easter

TE AWAMUTU was the centre of the Universe as far as rodding fans were concerned as the town made welcome hundreds of fans for the 2007 PPG/Classic Cover Street Rod Nationals over Easter. The highly successful event culminated with a huge show in and around Selwyn Park on Monday, with almost 400 cars on display and an estimated 6000 to 7000 paying visitors joining the hundreds of entrants, drivers and trade displayers in an awesome display of beautiful machinery.
