Citizens Advice Bureau Te Awamutu
The Te Awamutu bureau is located in United Arcade along Alexandra Street. Our opening hours are 9.00am to 3.30pm Mon-Fri.
We provide FREE access to: a legal clinic, a JP clinic, a advocate service and CAB’s Information Database.
Civil Defence
Civil Defence is a system of co-ordinating all available resources to assist the community in an emergency. Its main aim is to help people and is only concerned with property if it affects the welfare of people.
Freeman Court
At Freeman Court we support people to live independently. We are not a rest home or a hospital; we are a place where people live independently in a harmonious environment with a choice of activities provided for them to participate in.

Loving Arms
We are a group dedicated to helping new mums and their baby's that find themselves in need. From clothing, bedding and equipment to meals and support. We recognise that sometimes mums just need helping hand during the all important time after birth.
Rosetown Counselling Centre
Our counsellors cover all areas of need. Office hours: Tuesday and Wednesday 9.00am - 7.00pm. Thursday 9.00am - 4.00pm. Urgent counselling is available outside these hours by appointment.
Te Awamutu Home Birth Support Group
The Te Awamutu Homebirth Support Group meets regularly. All homebirthers welcome. Contact Karene for details of venue, etc.
Te Awamutu Home Support Services
Established in 1990 - Volunteer support for over 65s and also for younger with age related disabilities for shopping, and health related appointments. Delivered meals within a 6km radius. Contact Shirley for meals (871-7620), Mary Roose for everything else (871-6169).
